The Helena Area Chamber of Commerce is Montana’s oldest chamber, tracing its roots back to the Helena Board of Trade and officially operating since 1890. Located in the heart of Helena’s historic downtown, the Chamber is dedicated to supporting local businesses and fostering a thriving economic environment in the Helena area.

Staffed by a team of six professional and committed employees, the Chamber focuses on improving business opportunities, advocating for member interests, and providing essential resources to help businesses grow. Their work ensures that Helena continues to be a vibrant and welcoming community for both entrepreneurs and residents.

In addition to business support, the Chamber operates Helena’s Convention & Visitor’s Bureau (CVB), promoting tourism and encouraging visitors to explore the city. Through this dual mission, the Chamber helps connect local businesses with tourism opportunities, strengthening Helena’s economy and enhancing the visitor experience.
